Most leaders in this industry begin as individual contributors, yet few are trained in systemized team leadership. As a result, leadership often becomes task-focused, reactive, and rooted in fixed-mindset thinking that fails to inspire long-term growth. This keynote introduces Evolved Leadership, a modern approach that reframes leadership as the ability to draw out the best in people. Participants explore self-leadership, inner practices backed by research, and the three core pillars required for sustainable leadership. By understanding how conversations, learning, and rhythms shape team culture and performance, leaders gain a practical roadmap to build teams that are happier, stronger, and consistently productive.
Aspiring agency leaders transitioning from individual contributor to team leader Current leaders seeking sustainable, people-centered leadership approaches

“I attended a two day course on Transformational Leadership taught by Mr Stuart Tan, sponsored by NUS. Mr Tan was a very creative lecturer. He mixed aspects of neuroscience, organisational psychology, management theories as well as stories of can-do spirit of business titans and personal friends who live in the limitless realm of possibilities in putting his case across to us – that we can be more than who we think we are today. The class was a transformative experience for me and I will remind myself to try to effect the same sort of transformation to the people I work with in my office and various other groups I am involved in.

Stuart Tan is one of the most exceptionally gifted coaches I've ever met. Frankly, I don't have much respect for most of the folks who parade themselves around as 'coaches' these days. Most of them do not have even the basic skills required to coach themselves let alone clients. Stuart is not only qualified - at his young age, he's attained a degree of world class mastery that few will ever reach. He's one of a very small handful of people I trust enough to go to for this type of assistance, and I do so regularly.

Following an acquisition and a shift in focus, DirectAsia was undergoing significant transition – which, with a new team – made for a difficult transition period. We engaged Stuart to help us redefine our Values and embed a winning mentality in the new leadership team; hiring a leadership trainer is always a step into the unknown, and while Stuart was extremely straightforward and his references were impeccable, I remained a little nervous in advance of our leadership workshop. Those nerves were dispelled within an hour of the workshop starting: Stuart was engaging, illuminating and personable. His material, guidance and insight were first class, and several members of the team have since proclaimed that this was the best leadership training they have ever received. Following the workshop we have seen a significant improvement across our team.”
